Amitabh Bachchan says sorry to Raj Thackeray’s MNS

By Khabrein.Info News Desk,

Mumbai, Sept 10, 2008: Amitabh Bachchan has said sorry to Raj Thackeray’s MSN for alleged hurting Marathi sentiments by his wife and Rajya Sabha MP Jaya Bachchan.

Jaya Bachcan and her whole family including Amitabh Bachchan, their son Abhishek Bachchan and their daughter in law Aishwarya Rai were in the eye of the storm after Jaya had said that she should speak Hindi as she was from UP.

This had infuriated the fledgling outfit of Raj Thackeray so much that he ordered his goons to not allow any film by the whole Bachchan family to be shown at any cinema hall in Mumbai.

In a similarly brazen move Raj Thackeray’s uncle Bal Thackeray took on another Bollywood super star Shah Rukh Khan for being dilliwala.

It seems that both uncle and nephew are competing for the same space that was so far reserved for the senior Thackeray. Both of them are keeping the nerve of Indian business on tenterhook by their narrow political goals.

Amitabh Bachchan who was in London not only asked his wife to apologise but also wrote a lengthy apology on his blog.

While reasoning the apology tendered by his wife Big B said, “I am by nature an individual that invariably, when confronted, addresses an issue by looking at the other person’s point of view first. This is my character. I was born with it and shall remain with it. I cannot change it now. Many friends and family look upon it as a malaise, which is defensive, wrong and incorrect. But, much to their dismay I have remained unchanged”.
