Muslim scientists from India’s AMU contributed at Big Bang project

New Delhi, Sept 15, 2008: Muslim scientists from India’s AMU too contributed at Big Bang project at CERN, Switzerland. At least nine scientists from India’s premier university Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) for the last almost a decade had been party of the celebrated Big Bang project.

Aligarh Muslim University’s High Energy Physicists group of its Department of Physics had been coordinating with the CERN, often visiting the project site in Switzerland.

And when the big bang was being recreated at CERN, AMU’s High Energy Physicists group of its Department of Physics was rejoicing calling it a miracle of sorts.

They were happy not just because it was a big experiment, but also because it had some meaningful contribution of theirs’ as well.
