Bal Thackeray threatens Shah Rukh for being Dilliwala

By Khabrein.Info Correspondent,

Mumbai, Sept 9, 2008: After Raj Thackeray it is the turn of his uncle. Bal Thackeray has threatened Shah Rukh Khan for being Dilliwala.

It seems the Thackeray family is finding one target or the other. Only they can tell precisely where this witch hunt will take Mumbai, the economic capital of India.

It was Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan yesterday and today it is Shah Rukh Khan. There are millions of north Indians and South Indians, thousands of them running big and small enterprises. So Thackerays have target aplenty.

They can choose any businessman, trader, paanwala, taxiwallah, teacher, entrepreneur, stock exchange broker and anybody from any street in Mumbai and portray him as outsider. It seems they have been given a free hand.

In an editorial in Marathi daily Samna, Bal Thackeray said, “Shah Rukh says he is a Dilliwala. If you are from Delhi, then why have you come to Maharashtra”.

Thackeray senior has been using Samna for attacking one and all and has been rapped several times in the past by courts of law. Writing about Shah Rukh Khan he further said, “You come to Maharashtra to earn fame and wealth but once you have had your fill, then you will evoke the name of the region from where you came from. And Marathi people are expected not to utter a word in their own state”.

Bal Thackeray’s words are similar to those echoed by MNS chief Raj Thackeray, who has been creating one controversy after other by slamming the non Marathi’s living in Mumbai. The latest one being the salvo fired at Jaya Bachchan for calling herself a UP Wala.
