New Delhi, Sept 15, 2008: Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan had a narrow escape on Saturday in New Delhi when 5 blasts shattered the city. He was near Connaught place, downtown Delhi where two blasts took place with small intervals.
The serial bomb blasts shook the whole capital. Not only the bomb blasts targeted the most prominent shopping and commercial centers of the Indian capital, it also seems to have dampened the festival spirits of the people.
More than two dozen people are already dead in the blasts and more than hundred have been injured. Around 30 people are severely injured and struggling for their lives in different city hospital.
